Für diese Ausstellung haben wir eine diverse Auswahl von Künstler*innen zusammengestellt, die sich auf besondere Weise mit Fotografie beschäftigen. Die Ausstellung basiert auf dem Prinzip des „Cadavre Exquis“: Wir beginnen mit einem zufällig ausgewählten Bild und durch die inhaltliche Beschreibung oder das Sichtbarmachen eines Ausschnitts kann die nächste Person einen Beitrag zur Ergänzung leisten. So wächst die Ausstellung Arbeit für Arbeit. Die hinzugefügten Beiträge werden überwiegend Fotografien sein, können jedoch auch Arbeiten anderer Disziplinen oder Interpretationen des Mediums Fotografie umfassen.

Es entsteht ein räumliches „Cadavre Exquis“, eine fotografische Rauminstallation, die ein Gesamtbild erschafft. Eine surrealistische Landschaft, die das Publikum nicht nur durch die vorhandenen Teile, sondern auch durch ihre Lücken zum Fantasieren anregt. Hier werden Bilder ineinanderfließen und Medien sich vermischen, um den Betrachtern eine neue Reise ins Medium Fotografie zu bieten.

"From the Hidden Gardens"


Concept and Curation: Saeed Foroghi

For this exhibition, we have assembled a diverse selection of artists who engage with photography in unique ways. The exhibition is based on the principle of Cadavre Exquis: We begin with a randomly selected image, and through its thematic description or by highlighting a specific section, the next participant contributes a new piece. In this way, the exhibition grows work by work. While the added contributions will predominantly be photographs, they may also include works from other disciplines or interpretations of the photographic medium.

The result is a spatial Cadavre Exquis, a photographic installation that creates a cohesive overall image. A surreal landscape that invites the audience not only to engage with the existing elements but also to imagine what lies in the gaps. Here, images will merge, and media will blend, offering viewers a new journey into the world of photography.
